Top-Producing, Award-Winning, Experienced and Dynamic.
These are a few adjectives people use to describe Ellen. She is THE real estate agent clients search for to represent them. She is often referred to as a “powerhouse” to convey her ability and determination. This is a strength few agents possess.
In 2009, Ellen began her successful real estate career. Building her business model on the principle of providing her clients with commitment, credibility, and immediate response, Ellen rose to the very top of her field in just three years. This is a testament to Ellen’s drive and stellar professional and personal reputation. Ellen’s business model is quite simple — she acts as if she were the client, analyzing all angles and advising what she believes to be the best course of action. Ellen’s knowledge of Northern Jersey, and her experience of having lived here most of her life, gives her the confidence and enthusiasm to make her home, your home. Ellen’s clients become friends and her friends become clients.
Immigrating to the U.S. with her family when she was 11 years old, Ellen knows firsthand about adapting to new situations and connecting with people of all nationalities. She is fluent in Russian and English, holds a B.A. in Economics from Drew University and an M.S. in Hospitality Management from NYU. Ellen started her career as a Russian translator at Johnson & Johnson, opened and managed her own café in Upper Montclair, worked as hotel manager at the world-renowned Waldorf-Astoria in NYC, and later taught chess, all the while raising her three daughters. And that in itself is an interesting chapter...
Ellen applies her life experiences and education, along with her well-known sense of humor, to navigating through and diffusing difficult situations. Her goal is making the real estate journey seamless, stress-free, and entertaining for her clients. Being a good listener, Ellen is known for spending as much time as needed with her clients, and once her buyers fall in love with a house, she’s on a quest to get it at a fair price. Of course, the same goes for her sellers — Ellen is there to protect their investment and make sure no one takes advantage. The job is not done until her clients are happy and enthusiastically recommending her to their friends and neighbors.
Ellen admits that she is a natural-born workaholic, but there’s still time to play tennis and volleyball, ski, attend concerts, read, travel and, of course, play chess.
Testimonials
"Ellen is hands down the best realtor I have ever met. Home buying isn't a simple process especially when you're a first time home buyer and Ellen made sure it was one of the most educative, fun filled and empowering process we went through. Her market knowledge is beyond amazing and she works with you to find you the best place you can call home. She acted as a friend and a mentor to guide us throughout the process, making sure we didn't rush into a property that wasn't right for us and introduced us to the best people in the business (mortgage consultants, lawyers, etc.) which made our overall experience even better. I'm so glad we found Ellen and all good things followed. If you want a home in Livingston, at some point in time you will definitely hear about Ellen (or see a billboard with her picture right by the town center), so it's best to have her by your side! :) Once she's on your side, you can't go wrong!!!"
